Барномаи Стипендиявии Маълумоти Ҳуқуқӣ ва Рушд (LEAD) барои шаҳрвандони Тоҷикистон ба мутахассисони дорои маълумоти олии хукуки имконияти гирифтани унвони магистри илмҳои ҳуқуқиро дар ИМА пешниҳод менамояд.
Мақсади барнома иборат аст аз мустаҳкам намудани волоияти қонун дар Точикистон тавассути ба мутахассисони сохаи хуқуқ пешниҳод кардани имконият барои дарки нисбатан васеи системаҳои муқоисавии ҳуқуқӣ ва муҳокимаи қонунгузории Тоҷикистон ва ИМА.
LEAD барномаи Бюрои Давлатии ИМА оид ба мубориза бар зидди нашъаманди ва ҳимояи тартиботи ҳуқуқи аст ва аз тарафи АБА РОЛИ ва Айрекс амали гардонида мешавад. Ҳамаи иштирокчиён дар асоси озмуни шафоф интихоб карда мешаванд.
Хамаи иштирокчиёни барнома:
• Дар давоми як сол курси пурраи академикии Магистри Илмхои Ҳуқуқро (LL.M.) меомузанд;
• Дар ҷараёни барнома бо Ӯстодони АБА РОЛИ Ҳамкори менамоянд;
• Дар тули соли аввали академики дар лоиҳаҳои ихтиёри, ки ба дастгирии ҷомеаи махаллӣ равона карда шудаанд, иштирок мекунанд;.
• Баъди ба итмом расидани курси таълимӣ тачрибаи касбӣ меомузанд.

• Дастгирӣ барои гирифтани визаи Амрикои J‐1;
• Роҳкиро аз манзил то ба Донишгоҳи қабулкунандаи ИМА ва бозгашт ба манзил.;

The international non-profit organization International Research and Exchange Board (IREX) invites applicants to participate in Legal Education and Development (LEAD) Fellowship Program.

The LEAD Program is a program of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the U.S. Department of State and is implemented by ABA ROLI and IREX. This unique program provides master’s level study of law (LL.M) in the United States for current resident citizens of Tajikistan.

The purpose of the program is to strengthen rule of law culture in Tajikistan by providing exceptional legal professionals with a broader understanding of comparative systems of law and increased opportunities to discuss Tajik and US law.

Google Wave is a new online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using text, photos, videos, maps, and more. Learn more at wave.google.com.

Today I have received an invitation to preview and use this amazing tool which is being developed by Google. It can used as platform for your class to create documents and continuously edit documents, embed surveys, maps from Google Map, graphics and even videos.

What is interesting is that Google Wave supports also plug-ins which means users can contribute creating various plug-ins. Real time work enables users at Google Wave see how a document can be improved real-time by editing. Look forward to see many colleagues when Google Wave Beta will be public.

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2010 cycle of the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program.  Applications, including all supporting documents, are due by 5 PM Monday, November 2, 2009.

Competition for Middle School and High School Students: “Doors to Diplomacy”The Department of State and the Global SchoolNet Foundation announce the 2009 “Doors to Diplomacy” award competition, recognizing the student-created Global SchoolNet Web projects that best teach others about the importance of international affairs and diplomacy.

To qualify, middle school and high school students will work in small teams with teacher-coaches. Projects must be completed by March 15, 2009, and winners will be announced in May 2009. Every team that enters a project will receive a special “Doors to Diplomacy” certificate recognizing their achievement. Each student member of the two winning teams – one American and one international – will also receive a $2,000 scholarship, and the winning coaches’ schools will each receive a $500 cash award.

The Development Gateway is now accepting submissions for the 2008 photo contest. The top 10 photographs will be posted on the Web site. The winner will receive $1,000. We are looking for compelling photographs of socio-economic development in developing countries. Four types of photographs will be accepted. 1) The images may show information and communications technologies helping ordinary people. 2) The images may show people making something, selling wares, working in a field, constructing a building or type of infrastructure, or acquiring knowledge. 3) The images could be abstract images representing hope, the future, or capacity building. 4) The photographs may also include images of original artwork from a developing country. Please do not include photographs of groups of people posing.

Global Youth Service Day is the largest annual celebration of young volunteers, where millions of young people in countries everywhere highlight and carry out thousands of community improvement projects. Go to www.gysd.net to find out more about GYSD.

The U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe will fund nine full, four-year scholarships for Tajikistani students entering the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek in fall 2008. The scholarships include room and board and a living stipend.

All students from Tajikistan accepted to AUCA will automatically be considered for these scholarships. Recipients will be selected by an Embassy committee based on scholastic achievements and financial need.
