Doira - Shodiana performed by Tara Pandeya and Ustad Abbos Kosimov

Tomorrow is the 16th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence Day. I have enjoyed songs watching and listening to the concert dedicated to the Independence Day on local Channel 1 TV. After looking on the Internet for something similar to the performance that I watched on TV, I found “Shodiana performed by Tara Pandeya and Ustad Abbos Kosimov”
This dance was choreographed by Sharofat Rashidova of Padida Theater in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Tara performs dances of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan (loghari, attan, kabuli), Iran, Azerbijan & India. Ustad Abbos Kosimov is a world renowned doira musician from Uzbekistan.”
